Marketing Planning Implementation Interface â€Myassignmenthelp.Com

Question: Discuss About The Marketing Planning Implementation Interface? Answer: Introduction Even though the smart watch market in Australia started off in a moderate way, soon the industry has made its way to the priority list of the Australian consumers. A recent study showed that the sales of smart watches have increased by 89 per cent in the last financial year in the Australian market. IBM is an international IT company that is working with another company for launching a smart wrist watch in the Australian market that incorporates new and innovative software for exercises and fitness (Hollensen 2015). The organization still requires making an effective marketing plan and successful marketing strategies which can be helpful in launching the new product in the market (Armstrong et al. 2015). Therefore this report discusses the detailed marketing plan including a detailed assessment of the business environment in Australia along with implementation plan. Situation Analysis The wearable gadgets and software are a major part of the device ecosystem which is embedded with technology and internet connectivity. This incorporates several applications such as smart watches, fitness trackers, different kinds of smart clothing and skin patches (Wang and Nien 2016). These wearable gadgets tend to capture the imagination of people focusing on helping the users staying healthy and slowing down the aging procedure. The wearable energy manufactures and software providers tend to face several challenges in the market as the adaption of such gadgets in the consumer market has show a relatively slow pace despite of the plummeting prices of such products. At the initial stage of using the products, the basic features of the wearable tend to meet the requirements of the customers, while after a continued usage; the customers tend to face some issues such as not being able to monitor their heart rates while they are exercising. The customers also face issues with visualiz ing the information as the devices were not provided with any in-built screen (Wu, Wu and Chang 2016). Therefore, the purchasing drive of the smart gadgets has reduced a lot. Therefore, it is necessary for the new organization to create the software which produces right data which resembles with the actual amount of data. Other than that manipulating and integrating the data with different other applications seem to be impossible for several smart gadgets in the market, therefore the new watch can take this previous glitches and incorporate these features in their watches (West, Ford and Ibrahim 2015). The targeted customers of this industry are the health conscious higher income group customers who can pay sufficient amount of money for the gadgets. As there are several prominent competitors in the market, other than the international brands, such as the small companies, the brand needs a well-organized marketing plan for entering the market. Opportunities and issues This particular industry is expanding in a fast pace, even though the industry has shown a downside forecast in the initial stage. The Australian customers are adapting this technology and opting for smart watches that have been associated with healthcare and fitness (Choi and Kim 2016). A recent survey has shown that the market is now worth approximately $US14 billion. Therefore, this market offers a great opportunity for any new products. Weakness There are already well-established organizations in the Australian market that offer the customers smart watches, such as Samsun, Apple, Toshiba etc. Samsung and Apple have made their way within the top five companies dealing with wearable energy (Connor 2016). Therefore, a newly launched product would require a well-developed marketing strategy for making their way in the market. Opportunities There are numbers of opportunities in the wearable energy market in Australia. Most of the companies have incorporated the technology off monitoring the blood pressure and glucose level. However, the newly launched product is including activity monitors, sleep sensor and heart rate and fitness monitors. The products can be chosen on the basis of the added activities or specialties and the price may vary (Connor 2016). The supporting software is making healthy activities easier for the customers, so it would be easier to reach the targeted customers. Threat The established companies such as Apple, Samsung have already entered the market; therefore this newly launched product would have to compete with these international organizations (Choi and Kim 2016). Marketing objectives Introducing the innovative smart watch with the advanced technologies which does not include the previous issues faced by the customers. Launching products for both the budget range and premium range which can be offered to a wide range of clients. Offering customers a product that comes in a new model and software that offers an experience without any malfunction. Marketing strategies Segmenting: The company will put a bigger focus on the basic characteristics of the primary customer base within the Australian market. The primary target group of the product is the higher income group including the business professionals who are health conscious and are willing to spend money on gadgets (Tabatabaei, Sadjad and Makui 2017). With the budget range products the company is also targeting the middle income group. Therefore developing the products will be a major marketing strategy of the organization. Targeting The organization will include the improved battery service which was lacking in the previous models available in the market along with and advanced software which will not create much problem for the users (Connor 2017). If the product is being targeted to the health conscious young adults, the products should include advanced applications along with easily integrated data from the other devices. Positioning The new smart watch with IBM software promises the users to meet all their necessary requirements that had been missing in the available products in the market. As stated by the marketing team of the company, this product will include sleep sensor, blood pressure monitor, glucose monitor, emotional measurement, smart glasses, insulin pumps, smart clothing etc. The product will also include several improvements for the existing features such as sleep sensors and glucose monitoring with the hearing aids and head up display for entertainment as well. The company will also launch their product with an aggressive marketing strategy (Tabatabaei, Sadjadi and Makui 2017). This will help the product to have a competitive edge in the market; therefore it will be positioned ahead of the products of the competitors within the market. Marketing mix Price: There is a recent trend of dropping the price of the smart watches in the Australian market, therefore the company will also follow the trend and drop the price a little so that the middle income group of customers can also avail the service (West, Ford and Ibrahim 2015). Product: The product smart wrist watch includes software made by IBM, therefore the product will have improved and innovative features like sleep sensor, blood pressure monitor, glucose monitor, emotional measurement, smart glasses, insulin pumps, smart clothing etc. Place: The organization will launch their product in the Australian market as the reports indicate that the Australian market of wearable energy is expanding in a fast way. Promotion: The promotion of the product will involve aggressive and integrated promotional strategies such as advertising on television, print and social media and branding promotion. People: The targeted customer group for this product will be the health conscious business professionals and the young adults. As the company will launch the products in two price strata, for the higher strata the target audience will be the higher income group and for the moderate strata the targeted customer will be young adults and middle income group (Connor 2016). Process: The new product will be launched in a way that the demand of the products is met fully. As the market of wearable energy is blooming in Australia, the product will be first launched in the Australian market. Physical environment: The technology motivated business market will act as the prime inspiration of the launch of the new product. Profitability analysis Budget plan of the smart watch: Business activities Expenditure Broadcast of business $100 M Commercial on TV $500 M Newspaper and Magazines $500 M Social Media $200 M Outdoor expense $200 M Total estimated cost $1500 M Monitoring and control Monitoring of marketing plan will ensure the company objectives are met and the brand name and standard are maintained. The management of IBM and the developer of the smart watch should sit together and discuss the ongoing progress of the entire business situation and employ the necessary action plans (Meidan, Moutinho and Chan 2015). The main discussion of such meeting should aim the alignment of all the strategies for launching the product. However, before the management sits with the marketing team, they require having a private meeting with blueprint of strategies. As the Australian wearable energy market is expanding and Australia has the higher rates of adapting this technology, there are other international companies entering the market. Therefore unique marketing plan should have greater adaptability. Conclusion In conclusion, it can be said that the existing marketing strategies of the smart watch should improve for generating more revenues from the Australian marketing. The marketing planning of the organization will have to ensure that the organization is capable of drawing a wide range of customers from the Australian market. Therefore the promotional strategies should include various social and digital media platforms along with the marketing strategy of word of mouth. The organization should also involve strengthening its customer services after selling the products. Reference Armstrong, G., Kotler, P., Harker, M. and Brennan, R., 2015.Marketing: an introduction. Unemployment Essay Paper Example For Students

Unemployment Essay Paper Unemployment has been a problem throughout the United States since the beginning of our economic structure. In the most obvious sense, unemployment means being without a job. The term unemployment is one description of the economic condition of a society at any given time. Low unemployment means the majority of the labor force is involved in, or looking for steady work. On the other hand, high unemployment is an indication of an economy in recession, or even worse. This implies that a sizable percentage of the labor force is not currently working. Until they actually start working again, they will be counted in government data as unemployed (Shapiro, 1996). The Bureau of the Census in the Department of Commerce collects and tabulates the unemployment statistics in the united states. Next, this information is given to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) which is held in the labor department. The BLS then calculates the unemployment rate and publishes the statistics. Every month, agen ts revisit a set amount of households all over the United States. Some economists criticize the governments method of calculating unemployment because it fails to include discouraged workers in its data (Shapiro, 1996). Discouraged workers include those who have looked for a job over a large period of time and havesimply quit. For this reason, critics say, real unemployment may be extensively larger than one might think. Throughout the 1900s there has been numerous polls taken that shocked everyone. The unemployment rate for those who cannot read and write is dramatically higher than for those who can (Simons, 1989). Illiteracy is a hidden problem throughout the United States (Simons, 1989). Another poll taken showed that an estimated 23 percent of Americans can read a stop sign but cannot fill out an employment form. Of those who can read and write, large numbers of adults cannot read and write past the fifth grade level (Zycher, 1995). How are people going to get a job if they are not even able to inform the company of their skills? Another interesting fact, is The severest deficient demand in the United States occurred during the Great Depression in the 1930s. In fact, at one point the unemployment rate had raised to twenty five percent in 1933. Fortunately, after world war one had begun the need for military had decreased the rate to as low as 1.2 percent (Reynolds, 1994). On the other hand, most people did not even pay any attention to the unemployment rate, because the considered laziness to be the main cause. Several possibilities have been speculated, but none have been proven to be the single cause of high unemployment. It is plainlyclear that there have been several problems that play a role when the unemployment rate increases. Indeed, the experience of the past several decades suggest that no simple, quick, or radical remedy can eliminate the multitude of choke-points that are strangling U.S. economic and political processes (Choate,1986). Causes o f unemployment can vary. Some economists have defined several types of unemployment. One type is frictional unemployment. This is a temporary and unavoidable period of time where a person is out of the work force. According to One education way, There are always some people who are out of work for completely unavoidable reasons (Shapiro, 1996, P.151). Another example, is when technological and other changes cause structural unemployment. There are also clinical changes in which changes in general business occur. Peak is a period of time when spending amounts are extremely high along with employment rates. After a period of peak, activity consumers and business?reduce unemployment rates along with their spending levels. As this spending falls, other business firms begin to cut back on their spending. As spending decreases, production goes into a phase of recession, in which the decline of the gross domestic product occurs. Without excessspending, the whole line of supply and demand i s severely impacted. After the peak and recession phase, the economy enters its lowest point (Sharpiro, 1996). The factories and firms begin to operate at less productive levels. This, in turn, creates high unemployment. This phase is referred to as trough. The economy now enters another phase that impacts the unemployment rate. This phase is known as expansion. Now is the time of recuperating. During this time, business and consumers begin to increase their spending and production once again. Unemployment rates begin to decline as more workers are hired onto the job force. This is where the economy brings itself back to normal. According to One Educated Way Despite the pattern of peak, recession, trough, and expansion; the principle story of economics history is growth (Sharpiro, 1996, P.150). This has been occurring throughout the United States since world war one. We have experienced ups and downs in our economy throughout the century. The federal government is promoting maximum employment, production and purchasing power. .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .postImageUrl , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:hover , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:visited , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:active { border:0!important; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:active , .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u81ccdbb4a3055b50dec137f3096dccde:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Importance of Fathers Essay We will write a custom essay on Unemployment Paper specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Fortunately, the United States economy and other market systems have an ability to recuperate and decrease their unemployment rate. According to The high-flex society Numerous remedies have been offered (Choate, 1986, P.23). For example, weentered the expansion phase where the business and consumer spending began to increase. Therefore, conditions were bound to improve along with business production. Eventually, the economy reaches a peak once again (Shaprio, 1996). Most expansion phases last about three to four years. Joblessness is at record lows, and yet people are staying unemployed longer (Lynch, 1997). According to, the SIRS Researcher the unemployment rate has fallen sharply since 1992 (Reynolds, 1994, P.35). The number of jobs has not been expanding particularly quickly. Polls taken show that employment has been growing about 2 percent a year since 1993-94. Then exactly how does the unemployment rate drop so much within a short period of time? Critics believe that consumer co nfidence has increased a sizable amount and they are becoming more picky. Business week stated that The picture does not get any better than this (Kortez, 1997, P.32). The United States has fought each type of fought unemployment differently. There are several steps that can be taken to achieve low unemployment once again. These steps are also known as the fiscal point and the monetary policy. Fiscal point occurs when taxing and spending are used to regulate economic activity. In turn, this creates the economy to surge and forces the economy into an expansion phase. On the other hand, monetary policies include government policies that have had a great effect on the interest rates. This also affects the quantity of the money within circulation. According to the SIRS Researcher, Some people believe the government must become the employer of last resort if an industry cannot use the nations total labor force (Zycher, 1995, P.46). Eventhough many of the European countries have this policy, The United States has not bothered to pay any attention to it. This is mainly because there is little to no backing on such a policy because federal budget deficits have become to much of a major problem. Choate, P. (1986). The high-flex society. survivors Alyssa MoreiraSurvivorsI remember when I was young my father died in a horrible crash and my mother's distance was expressed in the number of states between us. Because my emotions were labeled unstable, I was lost in the pain of his death, and the sadness of the loneliness I felt without her. I didn't allow anyone in, shying away from society and in return, shunned away from them.I was taken in by my aunt; we were the odd ducklings of our family, the baby caterpillars that became beautiful butterflies under blind eyes. We would always receive Christmas cards from the relatives who never came for celebration but instead sent pictures that showed a perfect family I came to discover, they weren't. What family is?In 6th grade a boy I barely knew called me fat, but I never knew if he was joking, or why he did.English: Lion and Unicorn from The Nursery Rhyme B...I began befriending girls who cared too much about their length of their nose, or the width of their stomachs, and the size of t heir thighs. And even though I was brought up to believe I was beautiful society taught me I wasn't. I can still hear the soft sounds of family assuring me beauty wasn't skin deep, yet reminding me that losing a few pounds might help.In school they spoke of self-worth but never taught it. They advertised the value of loving yourself but never talked of those who didn't know how, and what to love. These people who, despite everyone they know, despite a loving mother, a father who's there, and despite friends who care can't convince themselves that they are worth remembering.Because society wasn't made that way.
